World Down Syndrome Day is marked each year on March 21, beginning in 2007. The 21st day of March was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome. The General Assembly of the United Nations has decided to observe it each year since 2012. So, wear your crazy socks tomorrow!
Today's Volleyball game vs General McLane has been canceled. The Junior High Volleyball team will not have practice after school today.
IHS Drama Presents Mamma Mia this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. (March 21-23) All shows begin at 7PM. Tickets are $5 and are being sold at the door. Come and enjoy a fun night of musical theatre and support our students.

The Iroquois Trade Fair was a huge success. There were students hired on the spot yesterday. A big thank you to Mrs. Weber and all of her helpers!
Students from Mrs. Kidds CHS Development Early Childhood class working in the kindergarten at Iroquois Elementary School. The older students learned to work with students while the younger students worked on reading, letter sounds, and writing out words.

2024 Iroquois High School Trades Fair: On Thursday, March 14th from 12:30-2:30 PM students from Iroquois, Harbor Creek, North East, and General McLane will have the opportunity to speak with over 30 vendors from the area. Vendors in attendance will be companies that have certificates, apprenticeships, and on-the-job training. UPMC, AHN, Electrical Workers, Roofers, Plumbers, Steamfitters, Brick Layers, Allied Crafters, Border Patrol: just to name a few. Special guest Senator Dan Laughlin will be in attendance.

Mrs. Chrapowicz's 10th Grade Honors ELA classes have teamed up to create something special for the little ones at the Elementary School - a cool children's book!
Picture this: a bunch of teenagers getting together to show that love isn't just one thing - it's all sorts of awesome acts. And how are they doing it? With a sprinkle of alliteration and a dash of rhyme, of course!
They took their book, L is for Love, to the kindergarteners last week where Miranda Kaiser and Ember Kemp read to the classes. Mrs. Chrapowicz's crew isn't just reading and studying books; they're making books to share their love of reading with the kids at the Elementary school!
