Our Unified Bocce team played an incredible second match of the season, splitting the series 1-1 with the Charter School of Excellence. The team is 2-2 on the season.🏅 Next up, they’re heading to Erie High next Wednesday to take on the Royals. Let’s show them our support and cheer them on! 💪🎊

LEADER IN ME UPDATE -
Today, the Senior High Band engaged in a meaningful discussion about Transition People as part of our Leader in Me initiative—individuals who transform negative behavioral patterns into positive ones.
Mr. Wise would like to recognize the individuals whom the band identified as transition people within our school (see attached picture). Notably, even Spider-Man and Batman made the list—certainly esteemed company to be in!
Today's open gym for Junior High Girl's Volleyball has been canceled.
The Girl's Basketball scheduled for this Thursday vs Union City will be played at 6 PM.
The Iroquois School District will be operating on a 2 Hour Delay for Wednesday, January 22, 2025 due to the "Extreme Cold Warning".

Junior High Volleyball Tryouts! Mark your calendars! Junior High Volleyball tryouts will be held on Monday, February 3rd from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM in the Elementary Gym. All athletes must have a physical on file to participate in tryouts. Important: A mandatory parent meeting is on January 31st at 5:30 PM. Additionally, we have Open Gym sessions at Iroquois Elementary School from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM on the following dates: January 15th, January 16th, January 22nd, January 24th, January 29th, and January 31st. We look forward to seeing your student-athlete there!
POSTPONED: The Bocce match scheduled for Wednesday, December 8th vs North East has been postponed. This match will be rescheduled at a later date.
ATTENTION SENIOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS: This Thursday, January 9th is our Financial Aid Night, with a brief presentation followed by the opportunity for FAFSA completion. The event begins at 5:30pm in the auditorium. Students and Parents are encouraged to attend together. StudentAid.gov accounts should be created today if you have not already done so in preparation for the event. Please reference the letter that was mailed home, have your student look at Schoology or contact the Guidance Department for questions.
Attention winter swim club participants: We’ll be having one final winter swim club session on Tuesday 1/7 to make up for the sessions we had to cancel in November due to weather. We should have your T-shirts ready for you then as well. If you have any questions or concerns, please let Coach Bartlett know.
ATTENTION SENIORS: You will be receiving a letter in the mail regarding student diploma orders. These letters were mailed to families on January 2nd. Parents, once this is received, PLEASE return the portion that is needed to Ms. Zawadzki in the high school office no later than January 27th so that your student’s information is correct on their diploma. The Barringer Classic begins today. Join us for the Girls' Games at 4:00 PM & 5:30 PM followed by the Boys' Games at 7:00 PM & 8:30 PM. This is a cash-only event. All proceeds support our boys' and girls' basketball programs. Season passes are not accepted. Adult tickets are $5, Students & Seniors and $2. Hope to see you there.
