
The Iroquois Golf team is hosting two open workouts for interested athletes this Monday, August 2nd, and Tuesday, August 3rd at 4:45 pm at the Downing Golf Course Driving Range. All interested players grades 9th - 12th are welcome to attend.

Vaccination reminder for students entering 7th and 12th grade: The 7th grade requirements for the first day of school are Tdap and Meningococcol(MCV). The 12th grade requirement is Meningococcol. If you have already received these vaccines over the summer, please bring your immunization record to the high school office prior to the start of the school year. If you have yet to receive these vaccinations, please make an appointment ASAP so that you are able to start the school year on time. These vaccinations are REQUIRED.

7th grade and new Jr. High student orientation will be held on August 17th from 9-10am at IHS in the Auditorium. Information will be mailed home soon to families. Also on August 17th from 11-12, we will host a new student orientation for Senior High students. All 9th graders are welcome to come and walk their schedules at that time if they would like!

Please be aware that the High School Office/Building will be closed on Friday, June 25th. We will return on Monday, June 28th at 7 a.m. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The 2021 high school Yearbook has arrived! Distribution will be on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 22 – 23 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. from the Community Lobby. Extra copies will be for sale for $80. Cash or check made payable to Iroquois Yearbook is accepted. Additionally, we will be selling copies of the last three year’s yearbooks at a discounted rate.

JR. HIGH FIELD DAY - This is a reminder to all 7th and 8th grade students that tomorrow, June 1st, is going to be a field day for the junior high. Students are reminded to dress appropriately with hats, shorts, and tennis shoes. It is also advised that students should bring sunscreen.

The Iroquois School District would like to hold a COVID Vaccine Clinic on site Saturday, June 5th. This event would be for all Iroquois community members over the age of 12. In order to facilitate this program with our local Walmart Pharmacy we are asking you to complete the interest survey located on the school district website. Responses must be received by Friday, May 28.

COVID VACCINES - The Iroquois School District would like to hold a COVID Vaccine Clinic onsite Saturday, June 5th. This would be the Pfizer two dose vaccine with the second dose given on June 26th. This event would be for all Iroquois community members over the age of 12. Anyone under the age of 18 will need parental permission and a parent on-site. There is no cost for this vaccine but you are asked to bring insurance card for verification. Vaccines will still be given if you do not have insurance. In order to facilitate this program with our local Walmart Pharmacy we are asking you to complete the attached interest survey.

UPDATE - GRADUATION TICKETS - Graduation will occur on Thursday, June 10, 2021 @ 7pm. This year's ceremony will take place outside on the football field. All students will receive 10 tickets for this event. If the weather is not favorable, the ceremony will be moved into the auditorium for the same date and time. Students will be permitted six guests if we move graduation inside.

Attention Parents of 11th and 12th grade students: Prom Court will be showcased with the King/Queen, Prince/Princess announced in the Auditorium on Saturday, May 22nd at 9:30pm. Parents of 11th and 12th grade students only are invited to watch the crowning and take photographs of our royalty on stage. Parents will be asked to leave the event after photographs are taken.
