
YEARBOOKS for the JR/SR High School are in! Distribution will take place on Aug 3 and 4 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Community Lobby. If you cannot make those dates, they will be available in the High School office AFTER August 4th. If you did not pre-order, a limited number of extra copies are available on a first come-first served basis for $82. Cash and checks made payable to Iroquois Yearbook are accepted. Information for the 2022/2023 School Year Parents of 7th graders and 12th graders, it is very important over the summer months that you contact your doctor's office to schedule an appointment for your child to receive the vaccines that are required for each grade level listed below. If you think your child may have had these vaccines already you may want to just double check with your doctor's office to make sure. Students who do not have required vaccinations listed below will be excluded from school until the school receives proof of the vaccines from the doctor's office. The doctor's office may fax to 814-897-2410, attention school nurse. Please try and schedule a visit ASAP as appointments book quickly and there is usually a waiting period. We would like to congratulate Max Nicolussi and Maikayla Fisher for representing Iroquois School District at the Athletic Hall of Fame Awards dinner/ceremony. They both were awarded the Vogt Family Award and Max was the recipient of the Erie Otters Award which recognizes a student athlete who is actively involved in their community with service.

I.H.S. will be holding its annual senior awards ceremony on Wednesday, June 8th at 9:00am in the auditorium. Parents and guests are welcome at 8:30 for seating. A livestream link to this event will be sent out after tomorrow's awards ceremony.

Please join us tonight Tuesday, June 7th for our annual Baccalaureate Ceremony celebrating the Class of 2022. The ceremony starts promptly at 7:00pm in the high school auditorium. Doors will open a 6:30pm, tickets will not be needed.

A HUGE thank you to the Iroquois School Foundation for their generous donation of Apple Airpods! The raffle was to promote attendance for our keystone exams. Congratulations to Michael Long who was very happy to claim his prize!


This Saturday, June 4th, from 11am to 3 pm the high school is offering FREE sports physicals. The sport physicals are required for students who wishes to play a sport for the school next year. These may also be used for application of a driver's license. Additionally, all student going into 11th grade will be required to have a physical. This is the only time the district will be offering them at no charge to families. Call the office for more information.

*Extended: Scholarship and Award information is due to the counseling office by Friday, June 3, 2022. We have had multiple messages, emails and announcements out about this. IF you have not done so already, PLEASE report any scholarship/award monies that you have received to the guidance office, by this date, so that you can be recognized at the Senior Awards Ceremony.

Tonight, May 24th is the first annual I.H.S. Art Show and Exhibition. Please come to the school at 5:30pm to support Mrs. Edwards and her art students.
