The Nutrition Group, in partnership with IES staff, were pleased to have the first annual IES Cafeteria March Madness competition. Prior to event, meal quantities were analyzed for their popularity and ranked based on frequency of student selection. Homerooms, and individual teachers, were able to submit a bracket to enter the competition. The “Final Four” were pizza, walking taco, chicken patty, and Fiestada pizza. Pizza and walking taco competed in the finals and in a surprising upset walking taco won by 14 lunches! Five homerooms and two individual teachers were crowned victories! A huge thank you to the staff at Nutrition Group for making this fun experience for our IES students.

Congratulations to Olivia for having the biggest improvement in Mr. Trapp's 3rd Grade Math class with an amazing growth of 172% and a 485-point growth on her Math Benchmark! We are so very proud of you!
Good afternoon IES families! As a reminder, we will be hosting a Kindergarten Information Meeting at IES on Thursday, March 30 at 6:00 for all incoming Kindergarten students and their families. The meeting has been moved to the library and light refreshments will be provided. If you know of another family living in the Iroquois School District with a child who will be 5 by September 1, 2023, please encourage them to attend as well to begin the process of signing up for Kindergarten in the fall. We can't wait to see you here!
