Hello IES families! I wanted to send a reminder about IES dismissal procedures. Walkers in grades 3-6 will be dismissed at 2:55 from their classrooms to exit at the Morse Street doors closest to the playground. Walkers in 2nd grade will be released from their classrooms beginning at 2:55 and will exit through the doors closest to the Iroquois Elementary Sign . Walkers in grades PreK through 1st grade will be waiting at the doors closest to the Iroquois Elementary Sign on Morse Street for parent/guardian or older sibling pick up once they've been released from their classrooms at 2:55. Parents waiting to pick up students should wait in the grassy areas or on the lower sidewalks. Please refrain from waiting on the sidewalk right outside the doors. In addition, we are asking that parents wear masks when picking up students when social distancing can not be maintained. Car rider dismissal will begin at 3:10 from the front entrance of the building. Car riders will be dismissed to the gym where they will wait in socially distant household groups until their ride arrives. All bus students will be dismissed to their busses as they arrive, beginning at 3:05. If you have any questions regarding dismissal please call the IES office at (814) 899-7643 x2000. Thank you!

Hello Iroquois Elementary Families! We are very excited to be in the final stages of preparing for our students' return to school. At this time, students have been placed into homerooms for the upcoming school year in Infinite Campus. However, rosters, and therefore homeroom teachers, are subject to change based on enrollment and creating balanced classrooms. It is likely that homeroom assignments may change, so we appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we prepare for a safe return to school. A letter was mailed to all families today outlining details about returning to school. Please contact the Iroquois Elementary School office at (814) 899-7643 x 2000 with any questions. Thank you and have a great evening!
