Madagascar: A Musical Adventure — Auditions Coming Soon!
Iroquois Elementary School is thrilled to announce auditions for our upcoming production of Madagascar: A Musical Adventure! Students in grades 3–6 are invited to show off their talents and join us on this wild and wonderful journey from the Central Park Zoo to the beaches of Madagascar.
Audition Dates:
Wednesday, November 5th & Thursday, November 6th (after school)
Students only need to attend one day of auditions, not both.
Parents must sign their child up using the form below. If you have more than one child auditioning, please complete a separate form for each student.

About the Show:
Join Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe, and Gloria the Hippo as they escape from New York’s Central Park Zoo and find themselves on the adventure of a lifetime! With outlandish characters, toe-tapping songs, and plenty of laughs, this upbeat show will have everyone ready to “Move It, Move It!”
What to Prepare:
Song: Students should prepare 30–45 seconds (or 16–32 bars) of a song that shows their voice and personality! Songs can come from any musical or movie. You may sing a cappella or bring a karaoke/instrumental track.
Examples include: “It’s Possible” (Seussical), “The Bare Necessities” (The Jungle Book), “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” (Toy Story), or “Tomorrow” (Annie).
Acting: Students will read a short scene from the script during auditions. We’re looking for clear voices, big expressions, confidence, and teamwork.
What to Bring:
A printed copy of song lyrics (if needed)
A water bottle
Comfortable clothes and shoes
A positive attitude and your best smile!
Audition Tips:
Practice your song at home, listen carefully to directions, and have fun! Auditions are about showing personality, energy, and enthusiasm—not perfection.
