Halloween Celebrations at IES – Friday, October 31, 2025
At Iroquois Elementary, Big Ideas Begin Here—including how we celebrate our favorite traditions! On Friday, October 31, we’ll enjoy a safe, creative, and joy-filled Halloween together with plenty of learning and laughter.
What to Know
Snacks & Crafts Provided: IES will provide snacks and crafts for every classroom. Families do not need to send additional treats or supplies.
Costumes: Students may wear costumes to school (staff can’t assist with dressing during the day).
Costume masks may be worn on top of the head but may not cover the full face.
No weapons/weapon replicas and no blood/violence in costumes. Items that don’t meet guidelines will be removed.
Red Carpet Runway Parade
Time/Place: 9:00 AM in the bus loop, starting with Pre-K and proceeding by grade level.
Families Welcome: Come cheer on our young leaders!
Traffic Note: The bus loop will be closed to traffic during the event.
Weather Plan: If needed, the parade will move to the gymnasium. We’ll send a message by 8:30 AM confirming location.
10/30/25 UPDATE
🎃 IES Halloween Parade Update! 👻
Due to the weather, the Halloween Parade will now be held INSIDE the IES Gym on Friday, Oct. 31 at 9:00 AM.
Families may enter starting at 8:45 AM through the GYM DOORS ONLY (by the yellow chair & ping-pong tables).
Students should wear school-appropriate costumes (no weapons or violent themes).
